IDSCU is a structured global directory of schools, colleges and universities published and administered by IASCU. It provides one place to locate public institutional names, locations, types, official websites and sector-specific education information.
Publisher and governance
The International Association for Schools, Colleges and Universities (IASCU) is responsible for the governance and publication oversight of IDSCU. IASCU establishes the directory’s methodology, release controls, validation requirements, public documentation and correction procedures.
Directory scope
The directory covers K–12 schools and postsecondary institutions. These sectors use separate databases, identifiers, profile routes, source controls and search filters. Records are not silently moved or merged across the sector boundary.
Relationship to IASCU membership
IDSCU is not a register of IASCU members. Inclusion in the directory does not indicate IASCU membership, and IASCU membership does not automatically produce or validate a directory listing.
Meaning of inclusion
A listing means that structured public directory information has been published for an institution. It is not a judgment of quality and does not constitute accreditation, recognition, certification, ranking or endorsement.
Using the directory
Use IDSCU to locate an institution, review its structured record and identify available source information. Confirm current legal status, programmes, admissions and recognition with the institution and the competent authority in the relevant jurisdiction.
